Q: How do I sign up?
A: Sign up by filling out the form on the Sign Up Your Business page and you're all set!
Don't forget to add photos.
Q: Can we promote our website or curbside instead of in-store?
A: Yes! While this event is geared to support physical Main St. businesses, we also want it to be
supportive under the difficult circumstances. If you prefer to do curbside or online business,
please include details in your sales descriptions.
Q: Do I have to stay open late to participate?
A: We strongly encourage all businesses to stay open until 9pm, but you are not obligated to
this year. Do what is most comfortable for your business, but please make sure your event
hours are clearly stated!
Q: When does the sale start?
A: All day Thursday and Friday. Some shops only give out discounts to people that mention specific times, others offer all day. This is up to the business’ preference.
Q: Can I offer food and drink as a part of my promotion?
A: Yes, but we will not promote it unless you are a bar or restaurant. References to food or alcohol outside of bar & restaurants will be deleted.
Q: Is there something I can post to help promote the event?
A: Yes! Social media promotional images will be sent out to use once you sign up. You can go ahead and announce your excitement on your social feed, stories or emails if you wish as a teaser to get the word out.

Q: Can I sponsor the event if I am not a physical Beacon business, participating/staying open
late or offering any specials?
A: Yes, sponsors are not limited to Beacon businesses and can sponsor the event without
participating. There is space for 10 sponsors and are available first come, first serve.
Q: Are you doing the raffle this year?
A: We are not doing the raffle this year due to Covid and the inability to track sales as easily or
host the afterparty to draw.
Q: Will the event still happen if it rains or snows?
A: Yes, the event is rain or shine, snow or no snow.
Q: Will we be handing out maps?
A: No we will not be handing out maps, we are using a QR code that patrons can sync
on their cell phones.
Q. How much does it cost to partake?
A. You can sign up for FREE, we are relying on the incredible support of sponsors this
